Homeowner called us out to preventative maintenance the storm drain system on the property. This was a proactive measure due to a section of the system flooding during the previous year’s rain season. Upon arrival the technician attempted to utilize a camera to view the integrity of the pipe. A massive root ball was found and needed to be addressed. The technician then utilized a hydro jetter in order to effectively cut and rip out the roots. After the section was cleared, the technician moved to the back yard “Area’ drains in order to flush the system from top to bottom. After the service, the technician located the section with the initial massive root as information for the recommended dig/repair spot if this section became worse in the future.
