Backed Up Sewer Hydro Jetting Service in Lemon Grove, CA

Customer called us out due to an ongoing issue with a downstairs bathtub. Customer stated they woke up and the downstairs bathtub was full of water as well as on the ground. Customer tried DIY solutions (drain-o) and the water receded. They ran the tub and toilets downstairs and nothing backed up. However, when the shower and toilet were ran in the upstairs bathroom, the tub downstairs started to backup and fill with cloudy water. Our technician performed a thorough investigation through water tests to confirm customers findings and provide solutions for blockage. The technician isolated the issue to a mainline sewer blockage. After finding the clean outs on the exterior of the home, a massive root was viewed that had been causing the ongoing backups/clogs. The technician performed a hydro jetting service to clear the roots from this section. After the service, it was determined that the root affected section of sewer would need some long-term form of “IN-HOUSE” rehabilitation to eliminate the root intrusion from coming back.
