Mainline Hydro Jet Service in San Diego, CA

Homeowner called us out to assist with a mainline sewer backup. Upon arrival, the technician found the mainline clean outs (access to sewer mainline) in the front yard that were overflowing with sewage. After inspecting first with the camera, the technician was given permission to hydro jet the blockage that was backing up the sewer line. After the initial hydro jetting the clog was cleared but the pipe was not CLEANED. After taking another look with the camera, the technician viewed and showed the customer the cause of the blockage. A massive root ball had penetrated the original cast iron mainline which was causing the blockage. After additional passes with the hydro jetter, the technician was able to clear the root ball. the technician flushed the sewer mainline with water to ensure proper flow was restored. After the service the technician recommended to have one of our estimators come out to provide long term sewer rehabilitation options.
