Kitchen Sink Hydro Jetting in Santee, CA

Customer called us out to help with a kitchen sink that was not draining. Upon arrival, the technician was able to locate an exterior 2″ kitchen wall clean out in order to use as an access point to the affected drain line. The technician attempted to view the line with a sewer camera but due the holding water, it was not visible. Utilizing a hydro jetter, the technician was able to clean the pipe of grease and food debris with high pressured water. After the line was cleared, the technician utilized the camera once more and saw that the original cast iron pipes had corroded leaving standing water that was catching the grease and food debris. A recommendation was given for a long-term solution after the technician performed a water test to ensure the drain line was flowing again.
