Upon arrival, the technician located the kitchen sink that was affected and holding water. After carefully extracting the water from the sink basins, the technician was able to disconnect the plumbing under the sink to access the problem area within the drain line. Utilizing a cable snake, the technician was able to clear this kitchen sink branch drain line of HEAVY amounts of roots. After a few more passes with the cable snake the technician was able to clear most of the roots within the compromised cast iron branch line. A camera inspection was performed to determine where the root growth may have entered the line. A recommendation for long term repairs was given and one of the Drain Mob estimators was scheduled to go out and provide options for repair.
