Customer called us out assist with a downstairs toilet that was backing up. Upon arrival, the technician found that this bathroom was hooked up to a sump pump. After carefully opening the sump pump, the technician performed an assessment of the exit and entrance to the sump pump basin. Utilizing a sewer push camera, the technician was able to see that there was a clog before the sewage entered the sump pump. Using a cable snake, the technician was able to efficiently clear the clog. A water test was performed to ensure the sewer line was opened and the sump pump was still functional.
