Commercial Car Wash called us out to investigate and attempt to clear a commercial storm drain that backed up after heavy amounts of rainfall. The technician was able to locate an entrance to this storm drain system but was having issues around 90ft from his entry point. Utilizing a hydro jetter, multiple heads and strategic placement of hydro jetter but this had no success. An investigation was done and found that the length of this storm drain system heads into a large area of overgrown brush and grass. The technician was able to locate this section by using the sound of the hydro jetter as it was turned on. The technician concluded that a bush/tree had compromised the section of pipe around 90ft out from the entry point and he recommended to get this section repaired to restore flow back to the system.
