Clogged Laundry Drain in La Mesa, CA

Customer needed assistance clearing a laundry branch drain line that had suddenly backed up. Upon arrival, the technician located an access point on the backside of the washer that gave direct access to the affected drain line. The technician then ran a cable snake and was able to make the drain line flow. However, a lot of black sludge, grease, was being pulled back on the cable. This entailed that the laundry and kitchen drain shared the same common line as it ties into the mainline sewer pipe. The technician made several passes with the cable and flushed a lot of hot water to attempt to clear as much grease as possible. A hydro jetting service to this affected drain line would be the best next step to efficiently clean this branch drain line.
