Backed Up Toilet in North Park, CA
Details
Completed February 2024
Location North Park, CA
Customer called us out to investigate a backed-up toilet that would not drain properly. The customer stated that the toilet would fill with water, to the brim of the bowl, and then recede after a couple of minutes. Upon arrival, the technician insisted on removing the toilet to provide a more in-depth investigation. Using a camera, the technician was able to view an incredibly large root mass growing in the toilet flange. Using a cable snake, the technician was able to successfully pull out the root mass in one piece. The toilet was reset, and the toilet was flushed, with paper, to ensure proper flow was restored. The customer insisted on a long-term solution afterwards. As a result, one of our estimators was sent out to provide a free estimate for long-term solutions using our trenchless sewer technology.
